Bandar kya Jane Adrak Ka Swad
SoilBite took place in the midst of nature in a peaceful area and I really respect the idea behind it. During the workshop I visited Nalanda, the site of world renowned university, said to be the first of its kind. There was a time when intellectual interaction had taken place in Bihar. But in the current scenario my state is not leading anymore.
I tried to investigate the reason behind it: political problems and education system. My work in this workshop depicts the inspiration, experience, and thoughts. The artwork is in the shape of the map of Bihar and covered with green plants, which I dedicated to Tarumitra, and within the map I made a cap in reverse form as a political symbol. The cap made of books evokes the story of Nalanda University. I worked on it because I tried to recall our memory and power.
