Pramada Menon

Bio
Pramada Menon is a queer feminist who has been working on issues of gender, sexuality, sexual rights, women’s rights, disability and mental health, livelihoods. and organizational development for more than three decades. She is the Co-founder of CREA (www.creaworld.org), an international women’s human rights organization; was the Executive Director of Dastkar, an organisation working for the promotion of crafts and craftspeople and now works as an independent consultant. She is also an Adviser to The Human Capability Foundation and The Greencliffe Foundation, two UK based grant making organizations.
Pramada has seen umpteen iterations of everything and still believes that positive change is possible, one just has to be at it constantly. She has done stand up shows – Fat, Feminist and Free; has made a documentary film “And You Thought You Knew Me – on the lives of queer persons in Delhi; and spends a lot of her time reading and meditating about the need for exercise to stay fit!
