Bio
Subhash is a seasoned Indian lawyer specialising in intellectual property rights and art law. In a career spanning over 15 years, Subhash has worked with leading lawyers and Indian law firms including Lall & Sethi, Lakshmi Kumaran & Sridharan Attorneys, Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, India DSK Legal and had founded the IP and art law practice at the boutique law firm, Krida Legal.
Subhash represents a diverse clientele, which includes public listed companies, healthcare, personal care and lifestyle brands, unicorn start-ups, e-commerce, fintech, edtech & social media, sports & gaming, Hotel & hospitality, software & content publishing companies.
Besides mainstream IP practice, which includes, IP filings and enforcement, Subhash specialises in contract drafting, IP and IT compliance, corporate due diligence, commercial and consumer disputes and enforcement strategies. He regularly appears before the Courts and Tribunals across India and has conducted numerous anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy raids. He also conducts legal hygiene workshop and presentations for his clients.
Subhash is a member of the European Community Trademark Association, IP Forum, FICCI, World Craft Council and International Delphic Council. He is an arbitrator with the Court of Arbitration of Art, Netherlands and also with the Hyderabad Arbitration Center. Subhash is also an avid educator and is regularly invited by universities and business associations for sessions/guest lectures on intellectual property law, emerging technology, contracts and art law.
