Khoj hosted the launch of Dr Ekta Chauhan’s debut book, Sheher Mein Gaon: Culture, Conflict and Change in Urban Villages of Delhi on October 24, 2026.

In her book, Dr Chauhan discusses the socio-economic fabric, culture, memories, and the changing landscapes of Delhi by looking at the urban villages within the city. The launch was followed by a conversation between Dr Chauhan and Sohail Hashmi, an oral historian and conservationist, moderated by Khoj.
