The beginning of the Food Residency Ed. III happened with the Bio Diversity Seed Festival in New Delhi. The festival hosted farmers and activist from seventeen different states of India representing the seed banks that each of them have cultivated and preserved. Sharing India’s spectacular cultivated diversity or 100s of crops and 1000s of varieties is the largest ever gathering of seed savers and exceptional organic ecological farmers from across the country… Exhibitions, Organic Foods, Seeds to Grow Gardens, Open Air Cafe’s, Music, Bonhomie, all amidst a peaceful spring garden and grove landscape.

The seed festival had food stalls with wild nutritional varieties of food. Here I found at a stall Bang Ki Chatni (Hemp/Marijuana seed Dip).
