The Khoj booth at the India Art Fair is an opportunity to showcase Khoj’s rich archive through the new website. It also offers a glimpse of our ongoing project Does the Blue Sky Lie?: Testimonies of Air’s Toxicities – an art project in three episodes opening with the air expo 22 as a public art intervention, followed by an exhibition at Khoj and finally concluding with the Café Classroom — a discursive space at Khoj Studios. The project is a meditation on air’s toxicities where we begin to think about air and what drives it to be toxic, even when it is ephemeral, invisible, removed from our consciousness by the deceptive blueness of the sky.
