Organisation Profile

Khoj International Artists’ Association is a non-profit experimental contemporary art organisation, based in Khirkee Village, New Delhi.  It hosts a wide range of contemporary arts related public programming, including artist residencies, exhibitions, public lectures, seminars and workshops.

 

Job Description

The Administrative Coordinator at Khoj International Artists’ Association will work closely with program team to coordinate operations and provide administrative and operational support for all programs. The responsibilities of the Administrative Coordinator include:

– Managing online Open calls, Opportunities and the Application processes of the programmes offered by Khoj including the ArthinkSouthAsia (ATSA) and Curatorial Intensive South Asia (CISA) residential fellowship programs

– Coordinating logistics including travel, lodging and daily operations for the ATSA and CISA residential fellowship programs

– Supporting Program Managers to oversee budgets related to the above

– Managing mailing lists, databases and other visitor / audience inventories

– Creating and updating records, databases and websites

– Managing phone and email inquiries for the training programmes (ATSA and CISA)

– Assisting with Marketing (online), PR and Outreach related to the above

 

Qualifications and Required Skills 

-2 years of professional experience in an administrative role

– Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Self driven with the ability to take initiative and solve problems

– Strong interpersonal skills

– Ability to deliver tasks within tight deadlines

– Excellent skills in MS Office & Excel

– Language fluency in English and Hindi

– Be able to recognize both opportunities and problems and act on their own initiative accordingly

– Enjoy working as a part of small team but also able to work independently and manage workloads in a calm, mature and capable manner
