We are seeking a full-time Junior Design and Media Manager to join our team. The role will support the media and design department in developing and delivering high-quality visual content across print, digital, and spatial formats. The candidate should bring strong technical proficiency, a keen eye for design, and the ability to work collaboratively with artists, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce communication materials for print and digital platforms (posters, catalogues, newsletters, social media graphics, exhibition collaterals).
- Support spatial design needs, including exhibition layouts, signage, and event-related graphics.
- Document programs through photography, videography, and editing, maintaining high-quality archives.
- Edit videos and digital content for publications, exhibitions, and online dissemination.
- Collaborate closely with the team to develop content that reflects Khoj’s identity and ethos.
- Liaise with external vendors, printers, and designers to ensure timely and high-quality production.
- Contribute to maintaining consistency in Khoj’s visual identity across platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Strong writing skills and design sensibility with the ability to translate ideas into impactful visuals.
- Drafting and managing website copy, drafting monthly emailers, website maintenance, and managing social media profiles to ensure consistency across platforms.
- Familiarity with space design, exhibition layouts, and basic architectural/graphic planning.
- Experience in documentation (photography/videography) and editing.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with artists, vendors, and team members.
- A background in design, visual communication, media, or related fields with at least 2 years of experience is preferred.
