About the Internship
Khoj International Artists’ Association invites applications for two internships:
1) A writing intern with the Programming and Curatorial team; and
2) A multimedia intern with the Media and Communications team.
The positions are for a period of 3 months, beginning in February 2021. The interns will work closely with the Programming and Curatorial team and the Media and Communications team during the duration of their internship.
Khoj internships are designed to encourage young creative practitioners and students from diverse backgrounds to develop their skills and learn by participating in various Khoj programs and further their experience in working with an arts organization.
Application Requirements
We welcome applicants from all professional backgrounds and training, as long as they have a serious interest in the arts and are dedicated to learning. The ideal applicant should be comfortable working with a small team, in a fast-paced work environment.
The Writing Internship
Eligibility criteria
-Demonstrable experience and interest in writing about the arts/ art writing
-Experience and interest in editorial work
-Interest in art history and contemporary art
The Multimedia Internship
Eligibility criteria
-Assist media production staff in developing content for the Khoj website
-Research topics using a variety of sources, including the Khoj archives and others as needed.
-Produce, edit and caption photographs and video content that adhere with Khoj’s guidelines and standards to share on online channels, social media and the website.
-Be proficient in Adobe Lightroom CC (basic editing & cataloguing) Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.
-Have excellent organizing and cataloguing skills
Required commitment
This is a full-time position from Monday-Friday. The writing intern can choose to work remotely during the period of their internships. If based in Delhi, the writing intern can also work out of Khoj studios.
Stipend
INR 15,000 (gross)
Khoj does not support travel or boarding for Interns.
