Call for Applications – “Looking in, Looking out”
We are back with “Looking in, Looking out”, our advanced course on sexuality.
We launched this course in April 2021, to recognize and explore the non-binary messiness of sexuality. Taking a step forward in this journey, we bring to you the third edition of this course, to be held from 7th – 13th November, 2024, at Visthar, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
This will be a seven-day residential course, which will be primarily in English and draw on a basic familiarity with the gender and sexuality discourse in the country.
This course is for practitioners with over 7 years of experience working on feminist and/or rights-based work with communities, especially with women and young people.
Middle-level to senior-level leadership, or independent consultants working with organizations engaged in work on issues of gender equality, women’s empowerment, and queer rights, through grassroots efforts, resource and material creation, funding support, or part of networks, coalitions and think tanks, are encouraged to apply.
People of all genders are welcome to apply. People from communities that experience marginalization based on gender, sexuality, caste, religion, ethnicity, and disabilities are encouraged to apply.
