Interactive session with filmmaker and video artist Harun Farocki at International Film Festival of Kerala

The International Film Festival of Kerala and the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore are organising an Interactive session with the well-known German filmmaker and video artist Harun Farocki on December 9, 2013 at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala as part of the International Film Festival of Kerala which is to be held from the 6th – 13th Dec 2013.
Harun Farocki is in India to present his highly acclaimed video installation “Labour in a Single Shot” in Bangalore which creatively integrates the results of intensive research and productive workshops in several cities, including Bangalore, as well as to participate in the International Film Festival of Kerala.
Film students are invited to participate in the session on documentary filmmaking on December 9th, which will will be held from 11.30 a.m. till 4.00 p.m. following the screening of Farocki’s films at the IFFK.
There are limited places for the session and registration is required. There is no registration fee, but all participants must be registered delegates of the 18th IFFK, registration for which is open at www.iffk.in.
The workshop is open to a limited number of students, who will be selected by Harun Farocki. Details of venue will be communicated directly to selected students.
