Khoj International Artists’ Association invites applications for a Fellow working in the Program & Curatorial team for a period of 6 months, beginning in August 2017. The Fellowship at Khoj is a full – time position (5 days a week) and is a serious opportunity for aspiring art managers and curators to work with the Khoj program team.
Responsibilities for the Khoj Fellow include assisting the Program & Curatorial team with the following: research, planning and facilitation of upcoming and ongoing residencies, exhibitions and projects; assisting with organizational and administrative work including Website & Social Media management, archiving and publications; assisting with ongoing Fundraising; assisting with outreach, publicity and communications.
A major focus area for the Fellow will be working on activating the organisation’s archive; with an opportunity to propose and create digital exhibitions showcasing important projects supported by Khoj over the past two decades. Fellows will also support the CISA Exhibition Display project, slated for January 2018.
Fellows are encouraged to develop an independent project or path within the scope of Khoj’s activities. For instance, if a Fellow is particularly interested to work with art publications, they are welcome to identify these particular interests in the letter of intent. Project areas can include video, graphic design, publication, public programming, community based projects, art education, archiving, curatorial, marketing, etc.

We welcome applicants from all professional backgrounds and training, as long as they have a serious interest in the arts and are dedication to learning. The ideal applicant should be comfortable working with a small team, in a fast paced work environment.
Indian and International applicants are welcome to apply (Please note: Khoj is not able to assist with the procurement of Visas for International applications).
Fellows will receive a small stipend to support local travel and food. Khoj does not support the travel or boarding for Fellows or Interns.
This is a full-time position from Monday – Friday. Khoj Fellows will be expected to participate in all Public Events (Openings, Talks, Workshops, Khirkee based events), which will typically take place during the evening or on weekends.
