Artreach is happy to continue the Teaching Fellowships for its sixth year running. For 2020-21, in partnership with KNMA, artists will lead programmes with groups of young people in care, through planned series of engaging workshops online.

The continuing lockdown due to COVID-19 has been especially difficult for child care institutions and also challenging for young artists trying to support themselves. And yet the need for creative education is more than ever.

We are increasing the number of Teaching Fellowships to a total of eight through shorter grant periods, open calls for which will be released periodically over the coming year. In the first phase, three artists will be selected to lead programmes with our partnering care homes: Rainbow Homes, Karm Marg and Udayan Care (November 2020 – March 2021).
