Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film, Singapore and Cinedarbaar, New Delhi in association with Singapore Film Festival, Delhi and Singapore High Commission, New Delhi is inviting application for a film residency to be held in Singapore and India in July and September, 2017 respectively. The Four week long film residency is a reciprocal residency between India-Singapore that is dedicated to providing filmmakers valuable space, resources and networking to help them develop their film projects. The residency programme aims to facilitate the research and creation of filmmakers’ work in progress projects.

The candidate wishing to apply should have made atleast two short films and mention their area of research they are interested in. Projects relevant to India- Singapore theme will be given preferences. The selected candidate will be provided with basic accommodation and work space for the duration of residency in addition to a research stipend of $500 and one round trip economy class air ticket (capped at $500). The candidate will present a talk related to their project in their respective countries and also have an opportunity to showcase their work in the city. The SELECTED Singapore film maker will present their work at the 4th Singapore Film Festival, New Delhi, 2017 at India Habitat Center. The shortlisted candidates will also have a chance to meet their counterparts.
