About ISCP

ISCP is a leading nonprofit, residency-based contemporary art institution for emerging to mid-career artists and curators from around the world, including the United States.

With more than 35 artists and curators in residence at all times, the program provides residents with the space, time, and support to develop new projects. With additional activities tailored for professional development and public engagement, ISCP serves as an important platform for producing, presenting and contextualizing contemporary art through a diverse range of international perspectives.

ISCP welcomes artists and curators from all parts of the world, including many Asian countries. ISCP’s public programs encourage dialogue and integrate residents into the cultural community of New York City. ISCP is also pleased to note that ten artists from ISCP’s group of esteemed alumni represented their countries in the 2022 Venice Biennale.
