Open Call for 2026 ISCP Residency Program
ISCP is a leading nonprofit, residency-based contemporary art institution for emerging to mid-career artists and curators from around the world, including the United States.
With more than 35 artists and curators in residence at all times, the program provides residents with the space, time, and support to develop new projects. With additional activities tailored for professional development and public engagement, ISCP serves as an important platform for producing, presenting and contextualizing contemporary art through a diverse range of international perspectives.

When the opportunity is open to new applications, clicking the ‘Apply Now’ link at the top of the page will provide access to the application form on our online application system.
If the opportunity is closed and not accepting applications the ‘Apply Now’ link will not be visible.
Duration and Value
- The residency is up to three months between 1st April 2026 to 30th June 2026.
- The residency includes 24-hour access to a private and furnished studio space, regular studio visits from visiting critics, field trips to museums, galleries and other cultural institutions, and participation in ISCP Talks.
- Residents are also invited to take part in ISCP’s Exhibition Program and Participatory Projects.
- The residency includes a stipend for accommodation and living expenses in New York City and travel costs.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be an Indian passport holding citizen and resident in India at the time of application.
- The applicant must be born on or after 1st January 1990.
Selection Process
The selection process involves a desk review of the application followed by an online interview of the shortlisted applicants.
Shortlisted applicants will be informed by Mid-November 2025.
