History Making, the thematic for this year’s Theatre Photography Grant asks whether the interconnectivity of theatre and photography can introduce a prismatic methodology of collective imaginations that allows for erased, unknown and disremembered histories to be reclaimed? Can the conjunction of these practices perceive the actor/photographer/citizen as both memory maker and theorist?

We encourage practitioners to have an expanded understanding of what constitutes theatre and look forward to submissions that push the boundaries of theatre and photography, their interconnections, and the ways in which practitioners may link them.
