Agat’s work blurs any definitive lines between art and design working closely with the notions of the modern city. With a giant dollop of dry humor, and his extensive background in product and communication design, Agat has been able to use the visual language of the everyday and produce works that are accessible to various cross-sections of people. He notices that this approach has helped him continuously re-assess his own world as designer/artist/person. Agat finished his Masters in Communication design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi. He currently teaches at Pearl Academy of Art, Design and Fashion. Jaipur. He has participated in residencies at Khoj, Sarai and Utopiana, Geneva.
