Anjani Khanna is a founding member of Mumbai Potters, a loose collection of Mumbai-based ceramic artists who come together to organize events in the city. She has been engaged professionally with ceramics for over 20 years, and is a member of the prestigious International Academy of Ceramics, Geneva. She writes on the arts and has a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. She works at her studio in Alibag, across the Mumbai harbour.
