Anupama Gowda, Co-Founder/CCO of Workbench Projects, is trained in the arts management sector and has served as an arts educator for nearly a decade. Committed to education and empowerment in the developmental sector, she keeps the work of WP grounded in its vision: ‘to put the power of innovation in every hand’. An ideator, thinker, and facilitator by practice, Anupama has been a recipient of the Charles Wallace India Award, UK and a Fellow at GI/MMB, Delhi- Germany. She is also a beneficiary of the MIT Media Lab, India Initiative workshop under their ‘Creative Learning’ track. Last but not the least, Anupama serves as Managing Trustee of a not-for-profit organisation called Yuva Chintana Foundation and is on the Board of Nrityagram, an internationally acclaimed Odissi Dance Gurukul.
