Bio
Anurag Khanna is the Director of Carbon Edge Industries and the Co-founder and Partner at Aanandini Agro LLP. Anurag holds degrees in Finance and Economics from prestigious Universities in Europe and India.
Awarded the title of Forbes Young Collector in the year 2014, Anurag Khanna has amassed quite an art collection over the last two decades. The self-taught art enthusiast spends months, and sometimes even years researching artists’ practices and works before adding works to his collection. Anurag has earned the reputation of being a risk taker and has become one of the few collectors in India who has dedicated a significant portion of his collection to experimental practices and video art. Anurag takes great pride in lending to institutions, publishing artists’ books and contributing to the community as much as possible. He has held sessions on collecting art and passionately shared about his journey as a collector. Going forward Anurag wishes to collect more challenging works which he can keep sharing with a wider audience, delve deeper into research and pursue his journey as a collector with deeper thought and slower pace.Through his CSR efforts, Anurag is closely involved with supporting social causes around education, the crafts sector, women’s empowerment and clean water initiatives.
Anurag lives with his wife Payal, and two daughters in Gandhidham, Kutch.
