Archana Prasad


Bio

Archana Prasad earned her Bachelor’s degree in Painting and her Master’s degree in Art History from CKP, Bangalore. She also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Animation from NID, Ahmedabad. Archana has been actively engaged with community art practices for the last decade. She is the Founder-Director of Jaaga, a community based urban art, tech, and activism project. Starting as early as 2004 with Standing On Fish, a small project that involved engaging the public in art on the street, and working on the Bangalore City Project that aimed to explore ways in which people can connect with the city through cultural practices, she has been exploring the connection between art, community, and the city for a while now.
