Arpit (she/her) is the Design and Media Manager at Khoj. With a background in Journalism Honours from Christ University, Bangalore, and a Masters in Fashion Journalism from the University of Arts London, UK, she has built a career that sits comfortably at the edges of design, media, and storytelling.

She is endlessly curious about the politics of aesthetics and visual language — who gets to define beauty, how visual culture holds or resists power, and the quiet ways identity and representation surface in art and design. She is most alive in a conversation that shifts how she sees something.

Having lived in over 13 cities, she has long made peace with not having a straight answer to “where are you from” — and has come to think the question itself might be the problem. She has strong opinions about things that don’t always warrant them, feels most at home in bookshops, and is drawn to the colour green in a way she cannot fully explain. In her spare time, she can usually be found reading three books at once before getting distracted by a film or disappearing into an art and craft phase that takes everyone, including herself, by surprise.
