Asifuzzaman Khan is an art manager based in Bangladesh. His focus area is local and international music and festivals.
He has been working with ‘Dhaka International FolkFest’ since its inception in 2015. It is the most popular and biggest annual international folk music festival in the country and has successfully rendered five editions. In 2020, he initiated ‘Dhaka International Guitar Festival’ in collaboration with ‘Calcutta Classical Guitar Society’. This is also an annual festival and the very first time of its kind in Bangladesh.  Asif is an ARThinkSouthAsia fellow. He is also the city lead of ‘Sofar Dhaka’ the Dhaka chapter of Sofar Sounds the global music platform for upcoming/ promising musicians. He is working as an advertising professional. Besides advertising agencies, he has worked for BBC and GoB [as consultant for multiple international ICT summits] in his career path.

He is passionate about revealing the potential of musicians and promoting them globally.
