Azita Ebadi


Bio

Azita Ebadi is an arts and culture manager, the Founder of algebrART and Co-Founder of ArtEngineers. She has been the head of the international section of Art Tomorrow magazine in Tehran and was involved in several international exhibitions in India, Iran, Austria and Germany. She was a conference speaker in Bonn (on the topic of culture market development) and Brussels (on the theme of European external cultural relations). From 2004 to 2008, she was working as a Film Coordinator and Project Assistant for the House of World Cultures in Berlin. She has written for Eunic Yearbook- Culture Report (Seeds of Rapprochement, 2013). Recently she co-curated an exhibition for ifa gallery in Stuttgart and Berlin (“Giving Yesterday a Tomorrow…Three Artistic Positions from Iran and the Principle of Hope”). She has been the moderator for Prints of Persia at Kunstquartier Bethanien (2012) and a jury member in 2004 for interfilm Berlin.
