Born 1973 in Yogyakarta, he is a graduate of ISI / Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Yogyakarta, Indonesia where he studied Graphic Art. Bambang is currently enrolled for a Master of Fine Art degree, Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia (2002 – present). He has been a lecturer in Graphic Art, Faculty of Fine Art, Indonesian Institute of the Arts since 1999. He has had 6 solo exhibitions in Yogyakarta since 1996, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Singapore, Jakarta and Yogyakarta.
