Bandhu Prasad
Bio
Bandhu Prasad is an arts manager and film & performing arts curator based out of Kerala and Mumbai. He has worked with the three editions of Kochi-Muziris Biennale as programmes manager and co-conceptualized and conducted Artist’s Cinema, the film programme of the Biennale. He was also one of the co-programmers of the Opening Week of Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016. He has curated film packages for Vibgyor film festival, Kerala and TENT festival, Kolkata in 2017. Since 2007, he has been working as the Filmmakers’ Liaison of International Film Festival of Kerala and International Documentary & Short Film Festival of Kerala, organized by the Govt. of Kerala. In 2015, he served as Programme Manager of IFFK responsible for selecting the world cinema section. He has been programming performing arts, music and films for independent art spaces & organizations in Kerala with the support from Trivi Art Concerns, an organization he has co-founded in 2011. His expertise and services as an arts manager has been instrumental for the success of Hay Festival Kerala, several editions of National Theatre Festival organized by the Information & Public Relations Dept, Govt. of Kerala and 8th Theatre Olympiad organized by National School of Drama, New Delhi in 2018. He has also served as a member of the expert committee on performing arts of Dept. of Culture, Govt. of India in 2013.
