Behzad holds a Master’s degree in dramatic literature. He started his career as a writer and visual art critic for various Iranian and international art magazines. Behzad worked as a sales manager with an international trading company and his part-time involvement with the arts led to some interesting opportunities. He has worked with a couple of art collectors and has served as an editor for a significant art magazine in Iran. His experiences in writing, teaching, curating, and marketing as well as his deep interest in Iranian arts all coalesced to produce the idea of opening his own art space that was realised in the year 2015.
