Komal Chamling
Bio
Komal Chamling is the Founder-Editor of ARTEM, a bi-monthly magazine covering stories of art in the North East region of India. She is also the founder of The People’s Studio, a space that seeks to create a culture of art, hosting exhibits, discussions and dialogue around artists and their work. A graduate of Harvard University, Komal has studied and previously worked in the field of education, building learning communities of educators across a network of 120 schools in Sikkim. Bringing her experiences in education to the field of art, Komal is deeply invested in building an ecosystem for artists where the field of art could grow and thrive in the North East region of India.
