Kruti Shah is an architect, researcher, and academician based in Ahmedabad, India, and one of the founding partners of Chaal.Chaal.Agency. Kruti Shah obtained her undergraduate degree from the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai, and later pursued her postgraduate studies at CEPT University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Architectural Design and was awarded the Erasmus+ fellowship. Currently, she is also an adjunct assistant professor at CEPT University where she leads design studios in the Bachelor’s in Urban Design program. She has been invited to speak at many institutions worldwide, including Carnegie Mellon University, the Politecnico de Milan, Bauhaus Universitaet in Weimar, Virserum Konstall (Sweden), School of Environment and Architecture (Mumbai), and FOAID (Delhi). Her interest in understanding micro and macro narratives of lived spaces led her to be a co-recipient of the DXD-Sanskriti Fellowship 2022.
