Kush Sethi is a gardener, forager and educator based out of New Delhi. Formally trained in Green Chemistry, he transitioned to urban ecology through field research in the Delhi Ridge. Inspired by ecosystem resiliency, he created a gardening practice around understanding problems in manicured urban landscaping and finding wilder, self-sustainable approaches.

Since 2017, he has designed and maintained over 20 private domestic gardens and curated nature-based walking excursions focusing on participatory knowledge creation for travelers, corporates and domestic audiences.

Kush has experience in working on digital storytelling for art and culture projects, driven by city experts and supported by local government on advocacy and engagement for urban biodiversity hotspots, historical sites, architecture, food and oral history. He has visited to teach gardening and ecology modules at the School of Planning and Architecture (Delhi, 2017), Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology (Bangalore, 2018 onwards), Indian Institute of Art and Design (Delhi, 2020), Ashoka University (2021 onwards), Dr. BR Ambedkar Schools of Specialized Excellence (Delhi, 2023) and Azim Premji University (Bhopal, 2024).

He has consulted on community focussed Sustainability Projects for Arts and Culture institutes like Deutsches Museum Munich (Germany, 2020), Site Gallery Sheffield (UK, 2021), KultureForum Witten (Germany, 2022) and Übersee-Museum (Germany, 2023).
