Bio
Neha Thakar (b.1980) graduated from B.Com. in Accountancy at South Gujarat University following which she completed formal education in art MVA and BVA in Painting at M.S. University of Baroda in Gujarat. She posed as a visiting lecturer at faculty of fine arts, Veer Narmad University and worked at the studio at Space studio in Gujarat. She is the recipient of Best promising artist award by Art India Magazine and Inlaks Fine arts award. She partook in several group and solo exhibitions in India and overseas, such as, Singapore, Israel and the USA. She participated in several residency programmes in India. She also went overseas for a residency programme at a research lab in Zurich, Switzerland. Her work – Documentation of “Dissolving Boundary” – is in collection of Ontario Royal Museum in Canada.
