Bio

Poornima Sardana is employed as the Museum Project Co-ordinator for the upcoming River Sanskriti Museum. Working in a start-up, she is learning strategy, marketing, and content frameworks while exploring her passion for placemaking and museums. She is also working on a collaborative project which brings together communities practising different forms of art to perform, exhibit, and educate. In future she hopes to expand these experiments through books and board games. Having received the Fulbright Scholarship to pursue her MA in Museum Studies at NYU, she believes in rethinking museums for people. She owes her learning to the artist communities from the Kathputli Colony in Delhi and their engagement with her, through her initiative Friends of Kathputli Colony Delhi.
