Priyal (she/her) is a Junior Curator and Programs Manager at Khoj.

Grounded in sociological ways of thinking, Priyal approaches visual art with both a feeling and an analytical lens. She is passionate about creating a vocabulary fitting for a non-Eurocentric art scene, through conscious rejection of jargon, slow-looking, and cherishing the playfulness of the work at the end of the day.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and International Relations from Ashoka University. Previously, she has worked at Poonji Nath.Art, an art market advisory, assisted Srinivas Aditya Mopidevi, a writer-curator, and occasionally writes for With Warm Regarts, her self-published visual discourse newsletter.

She is also interested in other forms of visual and performing arts—she loves dancing. On the weekends, she is usually hopping between film screenings, plays, and demystifying the city by going on long, eccentric walks.
