Ragini Singh
Bio
Ragini Singh Khushwaha is an arts manager and entrepreneur with over ten years of experience in the industry. She is the founder of ArtNowThus – an experiential arts agency based in Mumbai. Previously she has served as the Executive director of the Drama School Mumbai until 2020, leading it into its digital pivot.
As an artist, she has collaborated with performers on national and international projects. She has over 15 years of experience in Indian classical dance. Her interdisciplinary performance piece titled ‘Don’t f*** with my Unicorn’ was performed in London and was selected as a shortlist finalist for the Annual Rich Mix festival. Her documentary, Engayging Lives , portraying queer lives was shortlisted for the IRIS prize in Mumbai. Through her work in arts based education, she has developed and designed programmes for schools across national and international boards using methodologies based in the performing arts.
She has a Masters in Making Performance from the University of London and continues to make and tour work under the ArtNowThus banner. ArtNowThus is known for creating live work that is interdisciplinary, highly experiential and with a focus to engage a larger segment of the common population to experience and understand the works of varied contemporary artists. As of 2020, ArtNowThus has launched a digital experiences vertical, of which the podcast ‘Barely Researched Facts’ is the pioneering entity.
