Ramachandran Kottuvala has been actively involved in the field of performing and contemporary arts, both visual and aural, for over three decades. He is a founder member and principal mentor of Keli (estd. 1992), a Mumbai-based cultural organisation focussing on the performing arts traditions of India. Ramachandran has worked as the special curator of the performing arts segment for two editions of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, and is also a documentary film producer and director, with numerous films about the arts and artists to his credit.
