Rosalyn D’Mello
Bio
Rosalyn D’Mello is a New Delhi-based freelance writer. Her art reviews and features have been published in Art + Auction, Modern Painters, Art India, and Take on Art, among many others. She was the Editor-in-Chief of BLOUIN ARTINFO India, and a nominee for Forbes’ Best Emerging Art Writer Award in 2014 and the inaugural Prudential Eye Art Award for Best Writing on Asian Contemporary Art. In 2016, she was on the jury of the Prudential Eye Awards.
D’Mello’s debut non-fiction memoir, A Handbook For My Lover, was published in 2015 to critical acclaim. She is a well known art writer and writes a weekly column for Midday on feminist issues and a monthly column for Open Magazine based on her visits to artists’ studios. She is currently working on her second book.
