Sadya Mizan is an independent curator based in Dhaka. She is the Founder and Director of Uronto Artist Community (established in 2012), an alternative platform for collective arts & aesthetics. The present projects of this community work toward documenting and archiving memories through multidisciplinary creative practice. Currently she is also in charge of TV schedule & TRP Research in a Bangladeshi TV channel called Deepto TV. After completing her graduation in Graphic Design from the Faculty of Fine Art, University of Dhaka, Mizan worked across various fields as a coordinator, creative director and project director in organizations like Gallery Jolrong Bangladesh, Institute of Asian Creatives (IAC), and Anannya magazine. She has also been a contributing researcher for the Asia Art Archive over the last few years.
