Sameera Sardana
Bio
Sameera Sardana is a Junior Curator and Programs Manager at Khoj International Artists’ Association.
Sameera likes to write in alliterations and tautograms. A multidisciplinary maker and memory mapper, her practice revolves around forgetting, fractures and feminist futures, working between fiction, facilitation and fabrication.
She holds a Master’s degree in Fine Art from Goldsmiths’ (UOL) and a Bachelor’s in Fine Art from College of Art, University of Delhi. Previously, she has worked at Goldsmiths CCA, ArtAngel and Indigo+Madder. She has also co-founded and contributed to artist and research collectives like Furtherance and Exhausted Feminist Hybrid Species Reading Group in London.
Her exhibitions include shows at DeptfordX, Craft Central, Hypha Studios, Central Saint Martins, and the British Arts Medal Society. Her curatorial practice, which centers on collaboration, community, care, and curiosity, has resulted in group exhibitions such as Threshold, On Hold, and Futures_after.
