Sanayah Malik


Bio

Sanayah Malik grew up in Lahore, Pakistan. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2014 with a major in Anthropology. Since then, she has been working at The Citizens Archive of Pakistan (CAP), a non-profit organization dedicated to cultural and historical preservation and educational outreach. At CAP, Sanayah is a core team-member of the Oral History Project (South Asia’s largest private archive with 1,800 oral interviews and 74,000 images to its credit) and Pakistan’s first National Living History Museum. When she is not at work, you will find Sanayah engaging with various advocacy groups such as Girls at Dhabas, a movement promoting better access and mobility for women in public spaces, and The Fearless Collective, an initiative that uses the arts to build community and address issues of social justice.
