Shahana is a Bangladeshi media and cultural activist based in Rajshahi. After completing her Masters from the Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Rajshahi University, she has been actively involved in the media and development sector. She is one of the key founding members of a communication, media, culture and arts development organisation named CCD Bangladesh, where she is currently serving as Joint Director. Besides this, she has been working with Radio Padma 99.2 FM (radiopadma.fm) as Station Manager and Head of Programmes. She has produced and broadcasted radio programmes, documentaries and dramas on emerging social issues. She has also arranged a huge number of cultural shows especially Folk and Forum Theater shows, Women’s Festivals, Youth Summits and Film Festivals.
