Sunandita(Ita) is an artist and writer based in New Delhi. She graduated in Philosophy after which she
was awarded an exchange year at SciencePo Paris where she majored in art history. She is currently
a master’s student of visual art at the Ambedkar University Delhi. Ita has worked with several human
rights organizations within and outside the city with a focus on education, livelihood and environment.
She adopts different mediums of engagement and intervention to co create with diverse groups of
people, and also draws out her own experiences through textual and visual forms. Currently she is
interested in seeking expressions for the difficult navigations within urban ecologies.
