Trishla Talera is the Director of TIFA Working Studios, a platform dedicated to exploring alternate avenues of art education in Pune, India. A fiber artist from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) she focuses on introducing mentorship programs for young artists and designers and is a part of ongoing dialogues about new educational formats and experiments. She has worked with sustainable textiles and processes using hand loom, and interacted extensively with weavers’ communities in India. She has also studied organic agro-ecology and holds a keen interest in sustainable futures.
