Born in the rural village of Gangrai in West Bengal, Tufan Pramanik, grew up with an enthusiasm to travel the world. His world draws on this desire to travel and be in motion. He uses plenty of black-and-white surfaces to draw out transportation infrastructure, utilising basic material like charcoal, canvas, paper, blackboard, board, waste material and more. He depicts his daily journey.
