Tyśka Samborska

Tyśka Samborska is a polish visual and performance artist based in Italy. She completed a BA in French Literature and Theater in Jagiellonian University in Cracow (Poland) and  Performance Art Studies in Venice. She is currently taking a Master at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.

In the last years she took part in various exhibitions such as ‘Asthenia Funzine’ in Athens (Greece), ‘Art Night’ exhibition in Academy of Fine Arts in Venice (Italy), ‘Le Scriptorium of Chiara Zocchi’ in Valencennes (France) and workshops in Foundation for Visual Arts in Cracow, National Museum in Cracow, Museum of Japanese Art and Technology Manngha in Cracow in Collaboration with Palce Lizać Collective.

Her practice is strongly influenced by literature background and main source of inspiration are limits and borders of a body understood as a material. In her work, she tries to create a space for imagination more than searching for an answer.
