Panopticore is a speculative art project conceived as a pop-up retail installation. It draws inspiration from Jeremy Bentham’s Panopticon, Michel Foucault’s notion of the disciplinary society, and Shoshana Zuboff’s theory of surveillance capitalism, and asks: What happens when privacy is packaged, branded, and sold back to us?

The installation adopts the language of high fashion and retail culture inviting visitors to ‘buy into’ pseudo-scientific innovations that resist surveillance technologies. At its core, Panopticore questions commodification in a data-driven world and presents the act of surveillance not as an abstract concept but as an intimate condition of contemporary life.
