The performance and installation takes place in a street of Khirkee Extension, a locality in Delhi. The site acts as a metaphor for the moment when the artist travelled for the first time to and in a place to which he was completely new and came to as a foreigner. “I’m there in the middle of people, nobody knows me. Where have I come from? What have I seen in the past days? Where have I been?” The installation attempts to play with these distances, perceptions and ideas. “There, in the street, people can ask me a question starting by ‘where’, and I’ll answer, but not with words.”
