David Brazier

Bio
David Brazier is an Australian artist whose work spans sculpture, site-responsive installation, video, community engagement, and performance. His PhD research into artistic labour as a mode of resistance was awarded through Curtin University, Perth. He received his MA from Goldsmiths College, London and completed his BA at ENSBA, Paris. Brazier has been granted residencies at Delfina Foundation, Gertrude Contemporary, ARCUS, and Khoj, where location-based research has informed his projects. He has presented research at the Art and Activism Conference in Leiden, as well as at AAANZ Conferences in Melbourne and Perth
