Fundamentals of Arts Management was a short course by Khoj International Artists’ Association led by Pooja Sood & Ruchira Das from 19 to 21 September, 2025 (10:30 am to 5:30 pm) at the Institute for Development and Communication, Chandigarh.

The 3-day course covered the key aspects of arts management: strategic planning, marketing, financial planning, and human resources. The teaching format will included presentations, engaging discussions, and practical exercises to be done individually and in groups. Neelam Mansingh Chowdhry, writer, artist, and theatre director, and Lucy Peters, arts professional with over fifteen years of experience in the arts & entertainment industry, and festival manager at the Dharamshala Film Festival, also delivered special lectures.

This course is in collaboration with the Institute for Development and Communication, Chandigarh and is aimed at arts practitioners living and working in northern India. The project is supported by Petronet LNG Limited.
