Fundamentals of Arts Management was a short course by Khoj International Artists’ Association led by Pooja Sood & Ruchira Das from 12 to 14 September, 2025 (10:30 am to 5:30 pm) at Agora the Space, Guwahati, Assam.

The 3-day course covered the key aspects of arts management: strategic planning, marketing, financial planning, and human resources. The teaching format included presentations, engaging discussions, and practical exercises to be done individually and in groups. Lubna Shaheen curator, creative director, and arts leader from Northeast India, and Mary Therese Kurkalang, cultural curator and social researcher also delivered special lectures.

This course was in collaboration with Agora the Space, Guwahati and is aimed at arts practitioners living and working in the north-eastern region of India. The project is supported by Petronet LNG Limited.
